Cull the herd

Cull the herd is a platforming game with a twist. Before you actually begin playing through the level, you will have to breed the creatures at your disposal to create one suitable for overcoming the challenges you will face. You will go through 4 rounds of breeding. At the start of each breeding cycle you will be asked to cull the herd, sacrificing 6 creatures who you do not wish to breed. Afterwards, based on the remaining creatures’ attributes, 6 new creatures will be spawned. After repeated generations of breeding, you will be left with a final crop of creatures, and a random creature from it will be chosen to be your avatar for the level. You can hover your mouse over any creature to see its attributes, all ranging from level 1-5.  The attributes will affect both its appearance and its performance in certain tasks, so breed wisely. If an obstacle seems impassable, try restarting and breeding a new creature perhaps more up to the task!

While in the Cull the Herd Stage:

To move camera during cull the herd stage use w, a, s, d

Press G to skip this stage and start the survival stage with a completely randomly generated character

Click on the members of the herd you don't want to breed with your mouse

While in the survival stage

To move avatar in game use w, a, s, d

Press L to go back to the breeding stage

Depending on your avatar's strength you may be able to push blocks

Depending on your avatar's swim you may be able to swim up a waterfall

Depending on your avatar's health you can handle more attacks 

Depending on your avatar's jump you may have access to more routes

Speed is self explanatory :-)

Be careful as fire and spikes hurt you and eventually kill you.
